Remote education using our online tools will begin on Monday, March 23, 2020. Scholars will need access to a computer with a keyboard and a camera.
|DPCMS VIRTUAL LEARNING PLAN|
Please review the DPCMS One Pager to Families on Virtual Learning outlining the details of remote learning at DPCMS, including frequently asked questions and a virtual schedule for scholars. Scholars should start each day by logging into Clever and accessing Google classroom to review the assignments for each day.
Teachers will be available daily for office hours from 8:30-9:30 AM and 3:00-4:00 PM to answer scholar questions via Zoom.
As we prepare for remote learning, we encourage you to explore the resources below. Scholars will be utilizing Clever, Google Classroom and Jupiter Ed starting Monday, March 23, for remote learning, but we encourage you and your scholar to utilize many of the other resources below.
Additionally, if you are having issues with your computer, internet, or one of the platforms below, please complete a support request HERE and someone from our Ops team will reach out to you within 24 hours.

If you had not yet completed the parent survey, please do so before the deadline of June 26th. Your Feeback is very important to us. #YourSchool.YourVoice. Please reach out to the OPS TEAM if you need to retrieve your access code.
Starting on Monday, March 23, grab and go meals will only be available at 439 sites. The list of DOE Schoolfood sites can be found by visiting NYC meals. Breakfast and lunch will be available for grab and go from 7:30 AM-1:30 PM. Any scholar 18 years and under may go to any of these sites to pick one breakfast and two lunch meals.

ONLINE LEARNING RESOURCES
Clever provides access to many online learning tools including Google Classroom, Edulastic, and more. Start by logging in with the scholar’s DP email and password. If your child is having trouble logging in, please contact your scholar’s advisor directly (see link above).
Log in to Google Classroom with the scholar’s DP email and password. Assignments will be posted regularly through Google Classroom. Students will also need to turn work in on Google Classroom. If your scholar is unable to log in, please contact your scholar’s advisor. Please feel free to watch a short video on how to submit an assignment on Google Classroom HERE.
Scholars and families can log in to Jupiter Ed with their own log-in information. Scholars’ grades will continue to be updated here regularly with at least two grades per week. If you or your scholar is unable to log in, please contact your scholar’s advisor or complete a support request HERE.
Edulastic is a digital platform that offers customizable assessment items, standards-aligned reports, and teacher-to-student feedback tools.
IXL is a great platform scholars are familiar with and have used at school. Scholars can log in to IXL through the Clever portal and practice ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies standards. Please reach out to your scholars’ teachers for specific standards to focus on.
